Alongside my independent work, I am currently employed with the NHS as a highly specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Band 7 clinical lead) in a specialist provision for children with speech sound disorders and/ or Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). I regularly attend training in order to continuously develop my knowledge and understanding in this area of specialism.

After graduating in 2015 I have gained invaluable experience working in Speech and Language Therapy centres in the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore and India, including a leading private Speech and Language therapy centre in London. I have worked in a number of nurseries and schools in both state and independent sectors, liaising closely with Special Needs Co-ordinators (SENCo’s), teachers and teaching assistants and members of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT).

I am a passionate reader and lover of children’s literature and am currently writing my own children’s book. I draw on knowledge from my Psychology degree and Postgraduate masters in Speech and Language Therapy to guide my practice and always use a child centred approach when working with families and teaching staff, aiming to go the extra mile and provide additional advice and support where possible.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any concerns regarding your child’s communication development and I would be happy to discuss any way I can support your child to develop their confidence as a communicator.
