I am currently employed with the NHS as a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Band 7 Clinical Lead) in a provision for children with Speech Sound Disorders and/ or Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). I regularly attend and deliver training in my specialist areas.
I completed a Postgraduate Masters in Speech and Language Therapy in 2015 and have over ten years clinical experience. I have practiced within the NHS and at a leading Speech and Language Therapy centre in London, as well as several nurseries and independent schools both in the independent and state sector, where I liaise closely with Special Educational Needs co-ordinators (SENCo’s), Teachers, Teaching Assistants and members of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), in order to deliver the best outcome for the child.
I provide play based, engaging assessment and therapy to help children progress and grow in confidence, using a neurodiversity-affirming and person-centred approach when working with families.
